Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Patients with SLE often develop vasculitic skin lesions with occurrence of reddish violet manifestations located proximally to nail walls. The diagnosis can be supported serologically by pos. ANA, [anti-]dsDNA and sm-antibodies.
